3d in javascript

Apparently in 2004 I had a lot of time to spend mucking about with things like this. Found it lying about in a dusty corner of my server a few weeks ago (early 2009) and was shocked by the fact that it still worked on most browsers. Still not entirely sure why I decided to rewrite it using jquery but the code is now much cleaner, unfortunately it feels a lot slower running. Learn the lesson folks - jquery is a great tool, but it doesn't move blobs about as quickly as you'd want.
